As per my post about the Largo do Camões here 'tis
And since I’m a Porto person aka Tripeiro I have to include a couple of shots taken during the Rabelo Boat Regatta
Here are some contributions from my phone.
One of the views from the highest point of Sintra:
A random photo in Lisbon:
Some of the cliffs in Cascais:
A sunny Porto (can’t take it for granted):
The Bom Jesus Sanctuary, in Braga…:
…And the view from the top:
So much beauty to behold… I never made the high points in Sintra. I plan on doing it next time I come to Portugal.
I think you’ll like it. The peak is called Cruz Alta (High Cross) and you can reach it through the park near Palácio da Pena, called Parque da Pena. Not a lot of room up there and some boulders to climb (nothing ambitious, but requires some caution), but the view is great on a clear day.
@matthias.wintzer, some of those photos are pretty amazing. The first one is my favorite, I think. I really like that work. I recognize some, but not all of those places, so if you feel like giving us a tour and naming some of those spots…

But these coffins inside the Panteão are both
empty. Maybe I spent to much time with this stuff
My contribution -but it’s a link to Flickr… way too many to post individually here
Ahah!
You’re a great photographer, @stephencanthony. Lots of beautiful photos of Lisbon, Coimbra and Porto. I especially like how you capture and frame all the people in your shots.
Muito obrigado de novo. Tenho fazer fotográfia há 40 anos. E também gosto-a muito.
Oh, I’ve been there! It’s close to Paderne, in Algarve. There’s a restaurant somewhere in there where I had the best robalo (sea bass) ever. We made as much fun of the name of the place as you did, haha.
Beautiful stuff. Very historical.
I guess you did not find the alleged hidden Knights Templar treasure hehe?
Well, I can neither confirm nor deny the existence (and discovery) of such treasure
Kkkkk @Jeremy!
