Hi there - I was on a very busy streetcar (one of the newer ones) in Lisbon the other day and could’t get to the button on the door to signal to the driver that I wanted it open. What is a good way to ask someone - “Could you please press the stop button for me?” Which verb would I use? Also, what is a good way to say to the driver “Open the backdoor please!” I heard one Portuguese woman say - “Atrás, atrás”, I think. I am looking for something that sounds natural rather than a direct translation, if that makes sense. Thanks!

@ausdemnorden, you could say something like “Pode carregar no stop, por favor?” (to ask someone to press it for you), and “Pode abrir a porta, por favor?” or “Pode abrir atrás, por favor?” (to ask the driver to let you out)
