Word order regarding adverbs

Hi ! in the flash card Adjectives 1 > Lesson 3: Young, Old, and New you can read “ele ainda é jovem”. Can you also say “ele é ainda jovem”?. I found this link to a Brazilian site:

It provides some simple rules regarding the placement of the adverb. Can I trust it or would I sound Brazilian if I did?

Olá, @bonas.kneck. Either way would be fine, but “ele ainda é jovem” would be the most usual choice. The general rules listed in the article also apply to European Portuguese, but even when the rules allow for some flexibility, some sentences may only sound good a certain way, depending on the patterns we’re most used to hearing.
