Where to put ''Toda''

Hey!

I noticed a different position of the word ‘‘toda’’/‘‘tudo’’ in difference cases where you want to say ‘‘all of…" or "the whole…’’:
In one case - Eu durmo a noite toda - it is positioned after ‘‘a noite’’
In another case - Toda a equipa tem medo dela - it is positioned before ‘‘a equipa’’

Is there a fundamental difference between them? Or is it interchangeable?

@bldotan, no difference for these two examples; all applicable positions are interchangeable :slight_smile:

  • Eu durmo a noite toda = Eu durmo toda a noite
  • Toda a equipa tem medo dela = A equipa toda tem medo dela
