What to do next?

Hello guys,
I completed all the units from A1 to B2, it was great! You did a great job, I learned a lot about Portugal and the Portuguese language. But I still don’t speak fluently, and I realize that I have to continue. What are my next steps? What should I do in your enlightened specialist opinion?
Sincerely yours fan

Olá, @ilarchikov  You’ve already received good tips from us via our support channel, which focused on continuing to build up your reading and listening comprehension through our advanced Shorties (as well as podcasts in general, newscasts, TV, etc), while also seeking opportunities to speak and write more, whether with a tutor, Portuguese-speaking friends or conversation exchange groups. For example, I highly recommend trying out one of the online practice groups hosted by our user Jana - all details here: New online conversation/practice group - #11 by enchantmentunlimited

You might notice that the more you learn, the harder/slower it is to continue to progress towards actual fluency, and the more customized your approach needs to be. Looking for content targeted to your personal areas of interest is a good way to boost motivation while still exposing yourself consistently to the language.

Olá Ilia,
As Joseph mentioned, I run a Tuesday night (Portugal time) conversation group and am always looking for more practice partners as well. I live in Portugal but out of town and don’t get enough practice to move forward very quickly. Speaking/listening is the hardest part of learning this language. I have some resources I’m happy to share as well. Just shoot me an email to [email protected]. The link to our calls is in my post, so feel free to jump on and check it out. On the Sunday call we talk a lot about resources for learning, so you’re welcome to try that one as well. It tends to be more in English but we get some Portuguese in and play Portuguese word games and such.
Let me know if I can help.
Tchau,
Jana
