I’m confused :). I find ‘ano novo’ a couple of times on this website, but in the section “What day is it” the sentence is: O novo ano começa amanhã de manhã. Which is the correct order, or can we use both? Thanks :))
@jorien59, we can use both ‘Ano novo’ is the preferred order when we want to talk about the holiday itself, January 1st, or wish happy new year (Feliz Ano Novo!), for example. ‘Novo ano’ is seen more in general statements about the year as a whole.
