I currently have a Bible in Portuguese but it’s definitely more Braziliany and I kind of want to spend the majority of my time reading something in European Portuguese. So what are the most commonly used translations and how could they ship to the US?
@Jemmy, as far as I know and could reconfirm, the Bible translations used in Portugal derive from a major translation performed by João Ferreira de Almeida some centuries ago, which you might see referred to as “tradução de Almeida” or “versão Almeida”. I believe the exact version that is dominant in Portugal is Almeida Revista e Corrigida (= revised and amended). Hopefully, this information can help direct your searches
