which is correct – “estou a escrever para convidar-te para a festa” – or – “estou a escrecer para te convidar para a festa”
@emily With the preposition ‘para’, both options are acceptable and sound natural for us (although personally, I would choose “para te convidar” over “para convidar-te”) 
Prepositions don’t automatically bring object pronouns forward, although they might optionally allow for it and people might even do it by default thinking that they have to.
