@sfaznpinoy, it depends on the regional accent. “Gos-tie” is not really used. “Gos-tay” (as in ‘stay’ or ‘day’) is valid, for example, for many northern accents. “Gost-uh-ee” is valid, for example, for the Lisbon region accent (the one you’ll hear the most across Practice Portuguese materials).
