Olá, @sfaznpinoy. All you said is correct Unless the final E is accented (e.g. café, rodapé), it’s unstressed by default. Unstressed means that no special emphasis in placed on that final syllable, but it doesn’t mean that it can’t be pronounced at all. So, the final vowel might still be articulated with varying levels of intensity or dropped altogether, depending on regional accents & individual speech patterns (no specific rule applies). On average, the faster the speech, the more likely it is to be suppressed.
