Hello! I’m Kristina, I’m English and living in Northern Portugal. I am currently A2/B1 level and would love to find someone to practice every day speaking with occasionally.
I’d prefer texting/voice note based practice initially rather than video calls as I’m still very very nervous when speaking.
Hi Kristina, are you still looking for someone to practive with or did you find someone? I am in the Algarve and I too am English and although I have just finshed B1/B2, i personally believe I am at A2 for listening and speaking. My grammar is probably B1 to B2, but I am way off when listening and speaking. I have lots of podcasts etc. but never really have the self discipline to sit and listen, so it would be good to have a committment (even if it is only booked each week).
Hi Cristina! Like you, I’m a student at about a B1 level. I study mostly independently, using this and other platforms, online resources, and books. I already take conversation lessons with a Portuguese tutor, but I’d love to find a study partner with whom we can exchange opinions, role-play, and explore topics together. I think it could be helpful and stimulating. I have plenty of materials (texts, dialogues) that we can work on together. I’ve also books (graduated readers) and podcast. Let me know if you’d like.
