Can anyone recommend a free online audio Portuguese alphabet guide that features reliable European pronunciation?
Hey. Not sure about proper guides, but I found this video, which could be a decent starting point:
No K, W or Y, though. They only became officially part of our alphabet after the implementation of our latest spelling reform. The transition period for that only ended about 4 years ago.
At Practice Portuguese, we do have a thorough guide for all the vowel sounds in European Portuguese. Since we have a million different sounds for each vowel (), I do think this is a super useful resource for everyone: Open & Closed Vowels in European Portuguese
