A quick question- are ‘o que passou?’ and ‘o que aconteceu?’ the same?

Hi @peterjduffy. A good question. I came across passar as a refelexive verb today - o que se passa?
If it’s correct for ‘what’s happening’ it’s easy to remember as it’s the same verb in French.

Sorry, @peterjduffy, missed this one! Yes, both verbs can be used for “what happened”. As @patrickmcmahon5544 said, the verb passar is generally used reflexively in that case
