It’s a spy series set in Portugal during the second world war.
Does anyone know if it is on Netflix, Amazon Prime or suchlike? Or is it available to buy somewhere? It would be great to watch it.

Thanks for the recommendation! I don’t think it’s on any online platform apart from RTP Play, or at least, I couldn’t find any info indicating otherwise. If it’s as good as it seems, that’s too bad.

It’s difficult to find shows in Portuguese with English subtitles so happy to learn that, if you subscribe to PBS Masterpiece, there’s an 8-episode tv series new “A Espia” (The Spy) that just showed up. It’s in Portuguese with English subtitles.
The Portuguese series “A Espia”, known in English as “The Spy”, has a total of 8 episodes. The series was filmed in various locations in Portugal, including Lisbon, Porto, and other cities. The series is a Walter Presents production and features Portuguese audio with English subtitles.

Another one that I have mentioned before and is worth watching, with lots of subtitle options, is “Glória” on Netflix. Very atmospheric thriller set in the Salazar years of the late 60s. Just occasionally the plot pushed my credulity too far, but I would still give it 4 out of 5.
