Apologies if this is not the correct group for this question.
I am a slow learner, so would like a lot of practise. The smart review says I am up to date, but despite this, I would like additional rounds of the flash cards before studying any more lessons. Is there a way to “force” the app to give me more smart reviews?

Yes! It’s not possible to add an additional “Smart” Review if no phrases are due, but, you can create your own custom reviews from the Manage Smart Review page: https://www.practiceportuguese.com/my-phrases/
Check off the words/phrases you’d like to review and then click the Review button at the top of the list.
