Hi!

I’m Marta and I’m from Poland. I’m going to move to Madeira island this year if I get enrolled for Master studies there.

I have a general question about life in Madeira - how is it regarding safety as a young
woman and as a gay person? I’m going to move alone, but my girlfriend will visit me and move to Madeira a few months after me.

I will be thankful for every little info about Madeiran life!

Madeira is very safe. We lived as a family for 8 months, but not sure about gay life. I would imagine it should be safe. The Portugese people are very friendly.
You will enjoy. It is one of the most beautiful places on earth.
