When reading about housing, the learning note mentions IMT - Imposto Municipal sobre Transacções Onerosas de Imóveis. When looking online I see it is written with Transmissões instead.
ChatGPT tells me Transacções is the old version before the 1990 reform, and Transmissões is the new official one. Also it says that Transmissões is more of a legal ownership transfer, while Transacções is more financial and day-to-day. Also, after the reform it should drop the extra ‘c’ and just be transações.
