Just want to let the whole PP.com team how much I appreciate this course. I’ve been living in Portugal for about six months now. Last week, I went to the doctor and did the conversation in Portuguese. While we were waiting for a nurse to come in, he asked me how long I had been here. Said six months. He said that’s not possible, you speak Portuguese so well. This morning had another appointment and a doctor asked me where I learned Portuguese. I said PracticePortuguese.com and he wrote it down. Doctor said he couldn’t believe I would speak Portuguese with him just using an online course.
I feel like these are a real validation of the course you put together. These are docs who could speak English just fine, but they were willing to go along with me in Portuguese and compliment how far I have come.

A year and a bit. I got through the entire course but still use smart review. But to be sure I used many things. News podcasts from SIC. Newspaper subscriptions. Many YouTube videos including PP. I watch Isto É Gozar com Quem Trabalha. Because it’s super funny, so it encourages me to make sure I understand.
Obrigado! I am six weeks in and about two thirds through A2. I am hoping to get to B2 somewhat faster than you but I am around B1 in Spanish which helps a lot. Thank you also for the YouTube channel recommendation. I was looking for an interesting channel in European Portuguese. I don’t understand much yet but I really like the guy.
