How do you create a hyperlink within a message in a forum?

Hi Larry! While entering your message/reply, click on the link icon (looks like 2 pieces of a chain linked together). There you can add the url and the text for the link.

Alternatively, you can just copy-paste the url and it will show up as a link, like this: https://www.practiceportuguese.com/
