I’m new to the program and wondering if there is a way to export the smart review words and phrases? I was able to do this in LingQ and found it helpful as I could then import them into my Anki decks where I have more control, can add images, and so on.
Thanks!
Doug
Olá, @practiceportuguese.2! Unfortunately, this feature is not available at the moment, although it is an idea that has been put up for consideration before. If it is ever implemented in the future, we will let everyone know ![]()
I have been copying and pasting into anki.
I don’t share them since the audio and images are not public.
But I can give you the directions. It may take some time to set up, so you can message back if you need help.
I shared the template
https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/387293676
It makes at least 5 cards from each note.
For the audio, I use audacity.
There is an anki add on for this.
I remember having to go through some steps to set it up, but it’s been nice since I have it up and running.
See the reviews for further instructions. I felt like the review from 1/16/2025 was quite helpful.
Let me know if you need/want more help.
Oh, I find it helpful to tag the course level, unit, and lesson for questions down the road. You can do subtags in anki using ‘::’ between the words. it just doesn’t like spaces in tags. So I use the underscore.
I thought I would add an update just in case someone searches for this in the future.
As I was working over my staycation, I thought that there MUST be an easier way for me to make my anki flashcards.
Remember that any cards made from the website should not be shared without there express permission (see the request with shortie downloads).
To copy and paste into anki, I started using ditto.
I made some hotkeys to easily copy in order into the cards. For me, I just used Ctrl-Alt-1, Ctrl-Alt-2, etc and just copy in the same order every time (and paste in the reverse order).
For the audio, I started using ShareX, which is pretty powerful. This youtube has specific instructions on how to set up to copy the audio to the clipboard.
Finally, sometimes the audio has pauses at the front and back. This annoys me, so I edit it out with audacity: https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/1560623518
After the editing, I just export the cropped mp3 into the same filename, which is pretty fast because audacity uses the original filename as the default.
