Encerrado e Fechado

Encerrado and fechado both mean closed.
Does fechado mean closed temporarily and encerrado mean permanently? As in.
Esta loja está fechada.( For the night ).
Esta loja está encerrada há seis meses.

Sometimes, that will be the difference between them, but not always. In any case, encerrado definitely sounds stronger and more final than fechado. I think this is the post you’re talking about, right?: Encerrar ou Fechar? And Regressar/Voltar
