Ele vive numa casa mal-acabada

When I studies this card, I got the “mal-acabada” part wrong. So I thought I should do what I usually do. Make a card with just “mal-acabada”. But the system wouldn’t let me!!!

I of course needed to look it up. Apparently it’s an insult. Is is such a bad phrase that you can’t allow flashcards from this phrase? The description didn’t make it sound so bad.

Ele vive numa casa mal-acabada

He lives in a poorly finished house

i.e. shabby, not well built

@chokers_gossips6h, thanks for bringing it up. It might’ve been a temporary error at the time you tried. I tested it now and I was able to add the full phrase to the Smart Review and also create my own card with the target word alone. “Mal-acabada” is not an insult per se, it just indicates that something was not well made  If you continue having issues adding it to Smart Review, can you send us a ticket via our support channel? That way, the team can look into it further.
