why didn’t you conjugate the verb: Haver?
Hi, @DENISDUNANN. The verb haver in the sense of to exist is impersonal and can’t be conjugated. It has just one form (third-person singular) per tense. You can see these in the table @mac.cummings posted.
It can be conjugated only as an auxiliary verb:
- “Eu hei-de ser rico um dia” = “I shall be rich one day”
- “Nós ouvimos que eles haviam morrido” (archaic) =“We heard that they had died”
