I was wondering if anyone else has signed up to take the A2 ciple in May in the Azores?
We live on Santa Maria island so we’ll be flying over the day before and staying 2 nights. I’m wavering between " it doesn’t sound so hard…" and then wondering why on earth I even considered that I might manage to pass - the closer it gets, the more I’m leaning towards the second one!

Hi, while I am only a beginner, I wish you good luck! My husband and I will be flying out to Sao Miguel for 6 days tonight, and I can’t wait to be a little more immersed in the language - I am sure I won’t understand much… I didn’t even know about “ciple” but will look into this now. If you search this forum for CIPLE, you will find many posts from me and others who have taken the test. You’ll find tips and suggestions for study and practice tests.
When you arrive at the test site, I recommend talking to your fellow students and finding the person with the same assigned timeslot for the conversation part of the test. You can practice speaking to each other in Portuguese before you have the real test.
The audios in Practice Portuguese are good and some of the test audios will be similar, with actors, but some other audios will be from real life, like podcasts or the news.

I was actually planning to try the exam last year, but the places were booked up so quickly, I wasn’t expecting that. This year I was better prepared

Actually I do have another question, as the exam is only 2 weeks away.
Since registering and paying for the exam, other than receipt of the payment, which was all back in November last year, I’ve had no further communication. Can you remember @chris.mcnally whether you received further information pertaining to the exam day closer to the date?

I was scheduled to take the exam on the 22 of October, and on the 6th of October I received an email with the schedule of the parts of the exam and some instructions about what to bring, including the same ID I used when signing up, to arrive 20 minutes early, to bring a self addresses envelope if I wanted my results mailed to me etc.
In the email, it showed the produção e Interação orais was scheduled at 10 in the morning. Then the written part was scheduled for 3pm! and the listening at 4:30.
That email came from the LAPE, which is the testing center, not the same address as the sign up confirmation. But the subject had the word CIPLE in it.
