Hello everyone! I found Practice Portuguese great for learning Portuguese and recently took my CIPLE test in Berne, Switzerland. I passed! I can see my result on the CAPLE web site.
However, I do not have a certificate. Does anyone know how I get one, please?
I have tried emailing/ phoning the Portuguese embassy in Switzerland, and CAPLE in Lisbon. No-one replies or answers the phone and it is getting frustrating.
I thought this sort of thing just happened? Your advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.
check the emails you received from CAPLE leading up to the test. For my test in Portugal, I had to bring a self addressed envelope with me, which they used to mail the results to me in Portugal. In your case, the email might say that the certificate will be available at the testing site for you to pick up. I think that is what my email said as well.
Hi Chris. Thanks for your reply. I re-read the emails - no mention of the certificate. I had just presumed it would arrive by post like the Goethe certificates etc. Anyway, a bit more exploration and I find that it takes about 20 days after the results are issued for the certs to be sent…and then get to Switzerland… And then to me… My results were 20th July, so it looks like I should just be patient and trust the system.
