Sentence is Ela esta a força-se a amá-lo. Could we also say amá-lhe?
In this sentence we have to say amá-lo, because the verb amar is transitive, so takes a direct object. Lhe is the indirect object pronoun. If you are a Spanish speaker this can be a point of confusion because in some varieties of Spanish they use the indirect object pronoun when the object is a person. But in Portuguese this is never done.
As @azafran341 said, in European Portuguese, only direct object pronouns are compatible with this verb, so -lhe is not an option
Obrigado Joseph e @azafran341. É
