Adding in new achievements suggestion + Using leader board to study harder

Hello,

My name is Tobias and I’m a Portugal enjoyer. I’ve been here for the last 36 years (I’m 41) on and off, but currently I live here down in Algarve. I finally decided to learn the language properly, and this site has been a blessing for that

I recently noticed that the daily leader board is a great tool to push yourself that little extra per day to study. I just make it a game, like a small competition to first enter the top 10, and then I can push higher. I can highly recommend this approach.

I also jokingly make other people there my competition. Like, ahh now person (x) has gone ham again, I’m not going to get beat lol.

So today I broke a new record because I decided to go ballistic lol. So I received a new achievement for 300 points in a day. Then I was just… ahh… let’s just try and push higher…

I ended up at 505 points, but to my disappointment I did not get a new achivement on either 400 or 500 points :frowning::stuck_out_tongue:

So my suggestion is to just add in at least one for 500 points  Or maybe Joel and Rui are purposely withholding more achievements until you reach a 1000 points

Challenge accepted! No just kidding… my brain is mashed potato today after all the studying :joy:

Olá, @tobyone83 – that’s quite a record! Just wanted to confirm that I’ve already forwarded your suggestion internally to see if we can catch up to you (and beyond) with the achievements

@Joseph Oh, that’s awesome. Might seem like a small thing but it makes it just a bit more fun and engaging.

I really appreciate and like the way you structure your course, and just adding more and more to become more well-rounded. And most of all, this site feels cozy and down to earth with all the engagement and videos from you guys
