Olá, @stevet235, and welcome This is a question that naturally pops up with some frequency, but because each person has their own study needs and learning styles, there isn’t a single good answer for it. We do have several recommendations, though, and I’d say this other forum post already summarizes them well: Structure of Portuguese Course - #3 by Joseph
The Practice Portuguese blog has many more useful recommendations explained in detail: Blog - Practice Portuguese
The main suggestion I personally give is to combine as many different resources as possible from the get-go. Our Units already help with this, because they’ll usually have at least one dedicated Learning Note explaining the key concepts that you’ll explore in that Unit (and that’s most of the reading you’ll need to worry about at that point!), then a bunch of exercises of all types, always with audio examples, and then one or more shorties related to the topic, where you can also continue to focus on listening comprehension. The Units are already set up in a progressive manner, but all of them are unlocked from the beginning, so you are free to carve your own path. Our huge library of shorties and podcasts should be particularly relevant for you, anyway, as a listening-focused user.
Hope this helps. You can always reach out here or via our support channel for more tips or feedback.
